Panhandle lodging

A family of six is looking for the best deal on lodging in the panhandle area. Just want to lounge on the beach and enjoy the beauty. Would appreciate any suggestions.

post a bit more info on your needs. Price for instance, and does it have to be right on the beach or very close by?

What time of year are you thinking of going?

Sorry, I was in a hurry when I wrote that.

We would like to be within walking distance to the beach and we will be arriving July 2nd and staying until the 8th. Have stayed at Pensacola Beach before, but have never been to Destin. It would be nice to be near a pier and shopping. Would love to watch the fireworks on the 4th. Thought about staying in town and driving, but am thinking we%26#39;d rather be closer to the beach since that%26#39;s what we%26#39;ll primarily be there for.

Check out www.gulfcoastrentals.com for Destin condos

Check out Crystal Sands on vrbo.com or one of the rental agencies. It is on the beach but not sure if it is close to many fireworks on the 4th. It is pretty close to the outlet malls but not close enough to walk. Look at one of the loft units. Not sure how many adults or kids will be with you but maybe this will help.

There is a nice Pier in Fort Walton Beach/Okaloosa Island... about 5 miles from Destin. Might be another option for someone on a budget, saving on accommodations so ou can shop, huh? Good thinking! Holiday week, tho, so don%26#39;t wait too long!
