Anyone got any tips on the nearest place to buy baby food close to pop century for a non driver?
Baby Advice NeededWhat is ';pop century'; ?
Baby Advice NeededA overpriced Disney Hotel.
Pop century is a on site hotel at disney.
Thanks, sorry didn%26#39;t know it was a name as it wasn%26#39;t capitalized , guess I am too old, still don%26#39;t know all the computer communication short cuts, thought I was a genius when I figured out what ';lol'; meant,! LOL
Hi there! I don%26#39;t know if you would be interested in this or not, but Albertson%26#39;s grocery store has a deal where you fax a grocery list to them ahead of time, and they will have it ready to be picked up on your way from the airport. The fax number is 407-657-0132. Another idea that is a little expensive you can have grocery items delivered to your hotel room from Goodings. You can order items online and have them delivered when you get there. Disney has refridgerators you can rent for 10.60 per night or you can bring a cooler and just restock the ice. Goodings can be reached at shop.goodings.com on the web. You have to have a minimum 50.00 order to use them though. The closest actual grocery store to Disney is Winn Dixie ( I think). There is also netgrocer.com and it is the same concept of ordering items ahead of time and having them shipped to your hotel room. Disney will even store your cold items if you ask them ahead of time. I hope this helps!

There are a couple of grocery delivery services -
www.WeGoShop.com and www.gardengrocer.com
Baby food might be available in the stores at the resorts that offer ';Home Away From Home'; or at the Fort Wilderness Campground store.
couldn%26#39;t you take a bus to down town disney than walk it to goodings? or was everything farther than i remember...
most likely farther...
The best option is to take the bus to Downtown Disney, walk to Goodings(its about 1/2 mile down Hotel Plaza Blvd),shop at Goodings and cab it back to your hotel. Goodings is a little pricey but they will have everything you need and it is open 24/7. There%26#39;s a Walgreens across the street too so you could get all your shopping done at once%26#39;snacks,baby food, bottled water whatever else you need.
We used Garden Grocer in September when we stayed at Pop and it worked out great. There prices are reasonable and they only charge a $10 delivery fee which is definitely less than you would pay for a cab. If you arrange to pay by credit card, you don%26#39;t even have to be there for the delivery. They just drop it off with bell services. I thought that I heard that they were requiring a $40 order minimum, but I didn%26#39;t see that listed on there website when I just checked.
Also, the Baby Care Centers in the park sell very overpriced Gerber baby food if you are in a pinch.
Are you using the Magical Express? We box some food up, quick breakfast food and snacks to have on hand from home and send it with our luggage. We stick one of the luggage tags on it, that is provided when you use the ME. It%26#39;s not that we are cheap, but we stay right on Disney Property the whole time and we use the meal plan. So we need snacks and such to have on hand. Could you do that with the baby food? It comes in plastic containers now.
