I was wondering if anyone out there has any info on a small ';mom and Pop'; motel/motor inn that my husband and I enjoyed a few years ago. I am pretty sure the name was Sand and Sea and it was located on the main drag just a short distance away from the Pass-a-Grill area. It was sandwiched between two newer highrise hotels and it was owned by a very nice young english couple.
They offered motel rooms as well as family suites, the pool was in the back with a small walk bridge right out onto to St. Pete Beach. We are hoping to return but fear this lovely little spot has been swallowed up by one of the bigger hotels.
Any info would be much appreciated.
