Where to stay?

I%26#39;m a single woman in her 40s coming down in November for just a few days of ';beach therapy'; and R%26amp;R; don%26#39;t want a lot of party-dudes in their 20s or toddlers/babies around, yet like a bright, happy, ';beachy'; setting (so many of these hotels look rather drab in burgundy and brown; whazzup with that; has ';beachy decor'; become a clique decorators are now avoiding)? Also want shuttle service to the airport, restaurant on-site, and access to Sand Key.

Thanks for any and all feedback!!!

Where to stay?

Not sure about the decor but it sounds like the Sheraton Sand Key would be a nice location for you. It is a nice hotel, fabulous location, has a restaurant, not sure about shuttle service to airport but that can be arranged with any shuttle service company (i.e. Super Shuttle.)

In November their shouldnt be many party dudes or for that matter many children. Just our yearly snow birds.

Where to stay?

Check out the Sea Captain a call. It%26#39;s less expensive and very private, and the nice staff (nearly all older ladies) there will make you feel safe.

We%26#39;ve stayed three times, and it%26#39;s clean, reasonably priced, close to beach, and I believe it consistently rates #2 as best place to stay on Clearwater Beach.

Tell em Steve and Jayne Brown referred you!

Marriot suites sand key is my favorite hotel its just over the road from the beach and also has a great pool with a 20 foot high water fall which is great for having and drink and relaxing by
