We come to the Orlando area every year and have seen so much. We are looking for some new things to do that would be appropriate for 2 adults, a 12 yo and a 5 yo. We are actually staying between Orlando and Daytona the beginning of Feb. We have already done the following: Disney, Universal, Sea World, Celebration, Daytona raceway, St. Augustine, The Central FL Zoo, Blue Springs, Homosassa Springs, Amazing Exotics, Kennedy Space Center and airboat rides in Christmas FL . We don%26#39;t mind driving a couple hours for something worthwile. Any Ideas

Gatorland is pretty neat. Only takes about 1/2 day or a little over and is not too expensive. For theme parks you didin%26#39;t mention Busch Gardens. That would be quite a drive but it is the park I like best. There is also Lion Country Safari in West Palm. I have not been there is years so I don%26#39;t know how good it is anymore. It%26#39;s a shame Marineland went so far down hill. That used to be a good park.

what about going to the beach? seems pretty obvious :)

universal city walk

wet n wild
have you considered going somewhere else to vacation? if you have done it and seen it all? I mean... maybe come back in a few years when the little one is older and they can both do all the big kid rides together? not being rude but maybe something to think about...
I know you are the wrong side of Orlando for Busch Gardens/Tampa but I would still make the effort to drive over in that direction.
What about spending a couple of days down in south Florida - maybe around Ft Lauderdale/Hollywood area?? Lots to do down there - Miami Seaquarium, best outlet mall in world, great beaches, boat trips, Los Olas Blvd in Ft Lauderdale, etc, etc...........
We go every year because my fil lives there and my father winters there. We stay with them and then do a few touristy things with the kids.
GatorLand might be a good option as we have yet to do that. We always hit the beach, but honestly in early Feb. we rarely get to swim there. Thought about Discovery Cove and the other water parks, that will depend on how warm it is the week we are there. I really don%26#39;t want to spend a fortune.
Thanks for the ideas. If you have any others, please let me know. We do enjoy nature so it needn%26#39;t be an ';amusement'; activity, just something for all ages.
