We are spending a week at Club Med and we may not leave the compound but we wondered about any interesting places to visit nearby? I thought about driving to the Everglades for the day but my family thinks it%26#39;s too far for a day trip. We have a toddler who loves animals and being outside. Thanks!

There is Lion Country Safari in West Palm. You drive thru in your car %26amp; see the animals up close and they have paddle boats, etc. You could also drive up to Cape Canaveral to Kennedy Space Center. There are also air boat tours in Kissimee if you want to see alligators. Gatorland in the south end of Orlando is another small park, has nature trails, train ride, gator wrestling, etc. Theres also a petting zoo in Orlando where you can mikl a cow or goat. Green Meadow I think is the name. Melbourne also has a nice zoo.
All of these places are within about 2 to 2 1/2 hours drive.
