Disney world with an 18 month old

hi

We are plaming to bring our grandson to Disney in March or April. He will be almost 18 months old. We would love to stay on property but would also like a seperate area where we could put a crib and have some privacy. Can anyone recommend a good place to stay. Thanks

How about the All-Star Suites at the All-Star Movies Disney resort?

Here is a link telling you more about them:

These are some of the most up-to-date accomodations at Disney since they were brand new last year. All the Disney perks too.

Hi hawaii

I%26#39;m planning on taking my daughter at 17mths old, in jan 08 and we hopefully wil be staying at the al stars movie resort.

I%26#39;ve checked out all the hotels and I think that will appeal the most to her at the time. And if u get a preffered room u can stay nearer to the amenities

I%26#39;ve looked at the nicolodeon but read a lot of bad reviews but it does look cool 4 little kids

Hi Thanks fot the ingormation but right now I think we are switching to ouside the world (MAYBE!) We are thinking of the Hilton in the WDW property. Does anyone know anything about this hotel?

We have traveled extensively with our 2.5 year old daughter, and I think 18 months is a great age for a child at Disney! Have a wonderful time.

We normally make it a point to get a suite when we travel with our daughter, but I must say that Disneyworld is the one place where we are fine with just one room. We are tired at the end of the day from all of the walking and are ready to go to bed with her!

I must agree that the Family Suites at the Allstars would be a great option if you want to stay on property. However, you will have many more options off site.

It has been a very long time since I have traveled with little ones! I am so looking forward to it but at the same time a bit nervous. Did you find that napping went out the window in Disney or did your daughter seem to stay to schedule?

My husband is not going for the all stars.....so we are still looking!

My daughter naps every day at WDW at the parks. Returning to the resort takes a lot of time, so we don%26#39;t usually do that (unless we are going to the Christmas party or something). Sometimes it is a little later and the naps aren%26#39;t as long, but she always crashes for a bit. We do have to walk her sometimes to coax her to sleep. Make sure you bring your own stroller that reclines that your grandson is familar and comfortable with. Another thing we have that helps is a Rayshade. It%26#39;s an extra stroller hood that you can buy at Babies R Us that turns the stroller into a tent. Her schedule is more impacted at night...she goes to bed an hour or two later than at home because we usually go swimming at night.

Thanks for the information, It is really appreciated. I heard you are not allowed to bring in food or drink to the parks. Is this true?

Hello Hawaii,

You may bring drinks and some small snacks in the park just not entire meals. Check out the Port Orleans Riverside.

Does anyone know anything about WorldQuest Resorts?
