Disney's Wilderness Lodge - which room is best

HI! I%26#39;m looking into possibly staying at Wilderness Lodge. This is our first trip to Disney with our 4 yr old daughter. Sounds like the reviews are pretty good for this resort and people seem to like the transportation and the pool there.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a particular room or part of the resort to stay at. We are probably going to go with a standard room for cost unless we can be convinced otherwise.

Any suggestions or comments? Even if it to stay somewhere else.

Thanks.

I%26#39;ve only visited Wilderness Lodge and not ever stayed there, although I%26#39;d love to.

From my visit, I simply loved the views you%26#39;d have looking down on the back side of the Lodge and the pool/lake area. It%26#39;s a beautiful setting.

Here is a page with some photos to show you how that area might look. Take a look at the photos under Exterior of Lodge section.

Hi -Our family of four stayed at the Lodge last January and loved it. We had a courtyard view on the 5th floor which looked out at the main pool and lagoon. We were able to see the boat show at nightime sitting on our patio. The kids loved this. Just to let you know if you do ask for courtyard make sure you tell them the one with the main pool or they might put you at the quiet pool with no view of the lagoon. Also, our first room they put us in had a balcony that blocked your view unless you stood up. I believe these rooms are only on the 6th floor. Luckily, I went downstairs because our room smelled of cigarettes and we were given another room. Hope this helps. You will love this resort and so will your daughter.
