My husband and son are REALLY wanting to see a taping of TNA at Universal. I%26#39;ve read all the information on their site and called the hot line they have set up. I was wondering if anyone here had either been or know of others who have that can give us some idea of how early we need to line up in order to get in.
Thanks!!!!

My husband and I were there for the pay-per-view in December and got in line at just before 5. We were by no means the first in line, but got a good seat in the stands. I%26#39;m going to guess there were about 50-100 people ahead of us. The show started later than the regular taping, so I think they opened the gates at 7:30. It seemed like a LONG wait standing there, but once you were established in line, if one of us left for a couple minutes it wasn%26#39;t a big deal. I%26#39;m not a huge wrestling fan, but it was so worth it. I had a blast. If you don%26#39;t watch regularly, watch a few shows ahead of time. I%26#39;m really not sure how soon people start lining up on evenings where its taping the regular weekly show, but I%26#39;m going to guess its not as crowded as early. Have fun, and be prepared to join in the fun and be hoarse in the morning!

Thanks for the information!!!! I%26#39;m so happy to hear from someone that has actually been. Do they sell drinks and snacks inside? Where in the park does the line form? Oh, we are getting so excited. We don%26#39;t watch regular shows but I have added it to our tivo so we will watch a few before we leave....that is great advice. Oh, one more question, how was the atmosphere? I mean is there a lot of bad language and such? I have heard of live events being too rough for children but my husband tells me TNA won%26#39;t be bad.

Yes, they have a stand when you walk in, and I know I saw people getting drinks, but I%26#39;m not sure about snacks.

From walking in the front gate: as you walk toward Production Central, you will see the line down the street on the left between the gift shop and Jimmy Neutron. They have a portable sign that they put out, and line ropes.

There were people of all ages there. Its not just hard core wrestling fans, its also curious Universal Studios guests. For the most part the language isn%26#39;t too bad, but there is an occasional son-of-a-b* or sh* If you watch a couple shows beforehand, you%26#39;ll get a really good idea of what its like.
I don%26#39;t know how old your son is, but even for us adults, if you%26#39;re going to be in the park all day and you%26#39;re not staying too far away, I might suggest taking a break mid-afternoon and then coming back, because it might otherwise be a really long day. There was a really nice family sitting in front of us. Their son was probably about 6 or 7. He got really tired about half way through, and bless his parents%26#39; heart, they left (happily) to let their son get to bed. (Note, the pay per view shows start an hour or two later than the regular shows.)
What great advice! Thank you so much for taking the time to type all of that! When vacationing with children it is so much easier if you have some background knowledge about the places you visit.
