If you are stayingjust one night, pick the least exensive. We stayed at Royal Pacific for 4 nights and found it to be beyond fine. As far as I know you get FOLP when staying at any of the 3 hotels on property.

My all time favorite hotels are the Hard Rock chain. I love the decor and atmosphere. No matter what city I travel to, if there is a Hard Rock hotel, that is where I will stay. But it really depends on what you like. Each of the hotels has a very distinctive atmosphere and vibe and people like each of them for very different reasons. You could do a trip advisor search in this forum (look for the button that says ';Search In'; and Orlando forums should already be there, input your search topic in the next ';button'; over) and read what people have to say about each of the hotels.

Yes, who are you going with? The Hard Rock is great for teens, music is everywhere (even under the water in the pool). The Royal Pacific has a pool that is a tropical setting and the rooms there where fine. A little smaller than the Hard Rock but we dont spend much time in the room. The Portifino has 3 pools and has an Italian village feel (and to some a little stuffy feeling).

The Portifino is the farthest from the parks. The Hard Rock is the closest but even from the Royal Pacific you can walk (or take the bus shuttle or water taxi.) Since it is only one night, I would go with the cheapest which tends to be the Royal Pacific (it also has more eating choices).
