How busy are the parks in March?

Last year we came over for end of January beginning of febuary, we were thinking of coming a month later this year. Are the parks a lot busier at the beginning of March and when are US half term holidays?

Thanks

Hi, we had a fantastic time and it was VERY quiet. We walked on and off rides at will and someone said it was like having your own park to play with! Only thing we missed out on was Soarin at Epcot and we weren%26#39;t prepared to wait 20mins----we were very spoilt!

We arrived Jan 14th and left Feb 7th so you are a bit ahead of us but I expect it will still be good and quiet.

The US colleges and public schools are not all out at the same time. They start having breaks beginning in late February, and the crowds continue to build until the week before and after Easter, which are the busiest two weeks.

Easter is April 8th this year, so if you are coming the first couple of weeks in March, it will be busy, but it shouldn%26#39;t be too unpleasant. If you wait much later than that, it will be a lot busier. Expect crowds about double what you%26#39;re used to.

We go every year during our Spring Break (which is anywhere from the 2nd week in March til the last week-just depends on when our school schedules it that year) and while it is crowded we still always manage to ride and see everything. And when I say everything I mean everything. If you get to the parks when they open, use the FastPass system, hit the big rides during afternoon parades (I assume you have seen them since it isn%26#39;t your first trip) and popular meal times then you will be fine despite the large crowds. Just try to hit the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday instead of the other days and you should be fine. Do make sure that you make all of your table service/character meals/dinner show reservations as soon as your travel dates are 180 days away or you may not get into any of your first choice restaurants.

Oh and our weather has always been Fantastic in March. Not too hot, not too cold, not humid, and never rainy.

We were in Orlando at Disney the second week of March this year, and it was fairly crowded. While we had a late Easter, there were still lots of ';non-college'; children on spring break that week as well.

We found it very crowded for our standards, as we typically go in November.

We decided to forego the theme parks and concentrated our activities on Spring Training Major League Baseball games. We found most of them to be very crowded too, so just realize not only is spring break occurring in March, but the baseball teams bring a lot of folks to the area during that time too.
