What hotel(s) are perfect for an anniversary. My wife wants to be in the middle of it all... beach, sights, people watching and great happy hours.. We are travelling the week of Oct 24th. She would like an nice room- good sized bathroom and very comfortable bed. and a view of the ocean with beach access. All the reviews seem to be written by the hotels themselves/

Oh and did I mention that we are on a modest budget.

I doubt you can find a room in the middle of it all like that, BUT- forgo the ocean view and I can recommend a couple- Crescent Resort, 1400 block of Ocean Drive (across the st. from the beach) has beautiful rooms, with large bathrooms and really comfy beds (most south beach boutique hotels have small bathrooms). I can guarantee your wife will like these rooms, but no view.

Also Park Central is nice (bathrooms are kinda small), the Nassau Suites is nice, and there%26#39;s a place called Suites on South Beach with nice reviews but I haven%26#39;t been there yet.

Thank you for your advise. Our budget is about 175 a night.

Try to get an Ocean Front room at the Royal Palm in

your price range. These rooms can compare with the best of them.The pool and beach service are excellent as is

the location of this hotel.

I was in South Beach in September %26amp; stayed at the National Hotel (on Collins Ave), I can certainly recommend their %26#39;Cabana%26#39; rooms and the hotel generally.

The location was superb for all that you might want to see %26amp; do in the area and was within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants and bars on the Lincoln Road area, the beach,Collins Ave %26amp; Ocean Drive etc.

$175 is approximately 拢100 in English money. Our rate (booked via Hotels.com) varied quite a lot from night to night, - some times it was 拢55 per night %26amp; some nights it was 拢150+($270ish). Maybe you can get a few nights within your budget for the time that you are visiting.

You will have to settle for not having an ocean view, but the beach is just a few steps from the back gate of the hotel.
