How bad are crowds October 21-28?

I%26#39;ve been reading information on the busiest days of the week for the 4 parks.

My question is, has anyone traveled at the end of October, before Halloween? How bad are the crowds at that time, and how much attention should I pay to the ';busiest days'; advice?

Thanks in advance,

How bad are crowds October 21-28?

October attendance in the last few years has steadily climbed, which is why we switched to November for our annual visits. The last time I was at Disney in October was 2004, and it was moderately crowded at that time (think our visits were around Oct. 24th and 25th or so).

The ';best days'; site is estimating crowd ratings of 5 or 6 during that week, worst case scenario. My experience was about 20 minute waits for most attractions in 2004, if not using Fast Pass, especially at Magic Kingdom. Other parks seemed to have fewer visitors.

Years ago, October wasn%26#39;t quite so popular, but it has gained much popularity in the last 10 years or so. We used to go mid-month and literally walked on every ride with virtually no wait.

Good luck!!

We have a break from school from Sat 21st until Tues 1st of Nov so lots of Brits will be over. We come over every October and it is our favourite time to visit, much quieter than other holiday times.

If you%26#39;ve ever visited during ';peak'; times you%26#39;ll be pleasantly surprised. Just stay away from A.K. and M.K. on weekends and of course no sleepin%26#39; in.

We were at the Magic Kingdom this weekend and found it pretty crowded. You%26#39;ll want to use the fast pass system wisely and have a touring plan based on your group%26#39;s interests. Here%26#39;s what I learned about fast pass this time - the end time on the ticket is just a suggestion, the pass doesn%26#39;t expire. So if it says noon to 1:00, you can go back any time between noon and park closing. I would check this on the day you are there. You also need to be aware that once you take a fast pass, you can%26#39;t have another until the start time on the first one. So, for example, if riding the 3 mountains is important to you then want to go straight to Tomorrowland on arrival and get a fast pass for Buzz Lightyear. Then go ride space mountain and the orbiters without a pass. Once your Buzz time comes, go get another fast pass for space mountain (but only if the time on the ticket is no more than 1.5 hours away) and then ride buzz. Stick the space mountain fast pass in your pocket and head to Splash Mountain and Big Thunder. Ride rides have lunch, see a show, etc. until you can get the earliest fast pass on these two rides (or if the wait for Thunder is 20 min or less, get the pass for Spash and wait to ride Thunder). Sounds complicated but if you ask for help, you%26#39;ll be able to pull it off and ride lots of rides even on a busy day. I would also schedule a character lunch so you can take a break in a nice atmosphere.
