Hi We would like to stay here but the cheapest here is 289..need to be closer to 200...does it make sense to bid on priceline for this place or am I dreaming...never used priceline. Any tips? DKEL

I recommend you checkout the hotel%26#39;s official website and book through them directly. Sometimes they offer special packages and rates can very depending on dates and availibility. The Grand Bohemian is a very nice hotel, very fancy and contemporary, the hotel is also home to the popular fine dining restaurant, The Boheme. The hotel is an excellent location, located in downtown directly across from city hall. Checkout the website:

I believe the Westin Grand Bohemian is the only 4* in the Downtown Orlando area, so there are a few tricks that you can use to bid. I was successful in getting this hotel with taxes and fees for $125/night for a trip next month (11/1-11/4). Total for the 4 nights was just over $500, a teriffic deal considering the only rate I could find was $289 as well.

All of the instructions on how to bid effectively on Priceline are listed. The basic premise is that you start bidding at say $90/night for the 4* in DT Orlando. If it doesn%26#39;t work, add a zone somewhere else that doesn%26#39;t have any 4* properties (listed on the site). This will allow you to increase your bid without taking the chance of getting any other properties, assuming you are only looking for the 4* hotels. It can be a bit tricky, but the site above gives all of the details. Just be sure the zones you add if you have a failed bid don%26#39;t have any 4* hotels, and you can just keep bidding until your price is accepted, or you run out of zones. If this hotel is available for your dates, I haven%26#39;t seen bids more than $160-170 required to get it. If you%26#39;re getting higher than that, it%26#39;s probbly not available for your stay.
