Where to stay in December/Christmas Time?

Hi,

We%26#39;re not coming to Orlando until next year (2007), but are trying to plan early as we are coming out on 13th Dec for 2 weeks.

We are a family of 4 coming from the UK on a medium budget.

Can anyone recommend 3 or 4* hotels that are worth staying at - or even where I should avoid.

I%26#39;m also not sure whether to stay in kissimmee, international drive or lake buena vista!!

In other words........HELP!!!

I would look at Comfort Suites Maingate East, or Holiday Inn Express Lake Buena Vista. Both of these hotels have great free breakfasts , transportation to the parks and great pools.

Wherever you stay in the area, stop by Warbird Adventures at the Kissimmee Airport. Transatlantic visitors find them a favorite.

Hi we have been to Orlando three times, and going in December again for the fourth time.

This is a question that always come up. Kissimmee or International Drive. I have stayed at both places, but personally I prefer International Drive. If you do not have a car you cannot stay at Kissimmee, while Int%26#39;l drive has a bus route. You can walk to most of the shops e.t.c, and you will certainly have restaurants next door to any hotel on international drive. When you go try the buffet breakfast at Ponderosa.

One other big tip is if you want to want to reduce your cost, you can bid for your hotel at Priceline. However this means you will not kno wwhich particular 3* or 4* you will be staying. the 2.5* are $36 to $40 per night. As your dates are quite early and off season you might gor should et it even cheaper. However you will get it for at least 40% less. Before you try this though you must check www.biddingfortravel.com to read how to use priceline and see other people%26#39;s winning bid. Good luck
