Magical Express Questions

Are there some tips to avoid having any mishaps with the luggage arriving at your room. I should be recieving the tags soon I think. What are the proper procedures?

i%26#39;m curious about this as well since i%26#39;m going in 51 days. i%26#39;ve heard that as long as you put the tags on each bag there%26#39;s nothing to worry about.....i was told the tags come 2 weeks before your trip....Is this really true?

We are flying to Disney next week and are using Magical Express. We received our tags about 4 weeks prior to leaving. It seemed like we were getting mail from Disney every day for a while. After reading many reviews of this service I think that you have to have the right expectations. Your luggage is suposed to arrive 3 hours after you arrive at DISNEY, not MCO, so make sure to pack a small carry on with swim suites, and or shorts (if coming from a cold climate). If you want your bags earlier then do not put the tages on them, pick them up in baggage and stow them on the bus.

You will receive your special tags a few weeks before traveling. You will get 2 tags for each person in your party. Just put the special tags on your luggage as they tell you in the instructions. Your luggage will not travel on the same bus that you do and this is why they can get you to your resort so quickly. Your luggage will arrive at your resort a few hours later and be brought to your room for you while you are already checked in and having fun. Just pack swimsuits and extra clothes in your carry-on and you will be fine. We love using Magical Express and will be using it again in December. It is so nice not having to stand in line to pick up your luggage and wag it down to the bus, wait for them to load everyones luggage while you sit forever on the bus and then wait for them to get your luggage off the bus and wag it to your room. IT IS GREAT! You check it in at your departure airport and forget about it. They do the rest.

it%26#39;s going to be so nice to have the bags show up in our hotel room when we get back from Epcot, where we%26#39;re going as soon as we get there. yippeee!

We used this service in June %26#39;05 and just a few weeks ago and it went wonderfully. But I read a post earlier today saying that the service has taken longer than usual lately so do have anything you think you%26#39;ll need upon arrival along with you. We took a quick trip in January and we picked up our own luggage and had it with us on the us - there is a luggage area under the bus. That worked well too but you%26#39;ll want to tip the bus driver.
