3 weeks to go -- a few last minute questions

Hi ... please let me know if there is a website with this information. If not ... approximately how long is the Magical Express ride from the Orlando Airport to the PO-Riverside? We are having dinner the evening we arrive at Downtown Disney. How long is the boat ride from PO-Riverside to Downtown Disney? If the parks open at 9 am, what is the best time to arrive -- 8:45? We are having dinner in Epcot at the Coral Reef ... can you see IlluniNations from Future World? Thanks!

3 weeks to go -- a few last minute questions

Approx. time to get to your resort is about an hour. Really depends if your resort is the first stop or not. I think each bus only goes to three resorts so maybe you will be lucky and be the first drop off. If there is a boat ready to leave, the ride takes about 20-30 minutes because you sometimes stop and pick up more passengers at Port Orleans French Quarter. If no one is standing there you may not stop so the time just depends.

If a park opens at 9:00 you should try to be there at least by 8:30. If you are wanting to be one of the first in line to get quickly to a very popular ride like Soarin or Test Track at Epcot then I would be there earlier than that.

The best place to view Illuminations is near the lagoon in World Showcase. Much of the action takes place on the water and really should be seen this way.

We estimated the boat ride to D.T.D. from P.O.R. to be about 20 to 25 minutes, and less if no one is boarding or unboarding at P.O.F.Q. Those boats come every 15 minutes after about 4:00 P.M., so your total wait and travel time on the DTD boat should be more than 45 minutes at most.

We always plan to be at the gate at least 30 minutes before the gates open, because the gates ';technically'; open at about 8:50 anyway in order to get a few people on into the park.

I don%26#39;t think you can see much of Illuminations from the Coral Reef or much of anywhere in Future World. You really need to be at the lagoon since much of the show is literally ';on the water'; and you%26#39;d only be able to see the very highest of the fireworks otherwise.

Thanks for the info !!!
