hi there; only two days to go now; i was wondering whether anyone could give me tips about wheres a no no when parking the car; i got a ticket in spain last year, could nt understand what the lines meant. in england two yellows are a no no. at least in florida i ll be able to rad the signs; if there are any of course.
no parking rules
One of the real pleasures of driving in Florida is the proper enforcement of parking regulations. As opposed to the UK, where selfish and often downright illegal parking is widely tolerated, parking in Florida is entiely confined to recognised parking areas.
So, just don%26#39;t park anywhere but in a recognised parking area and pay the required amout if necessary. All the malls and shopping areas have ample parking, and the theme parks will have huge car parks where they will rip you off to the tune of $10 or more. You%26#39;ll soon appreciate how much more of a pleasure driving is if you are not forefer avoiding parked vehicles.
no parking rules
James, it%26#39;s entirely possible that you%26#39;ll not have to park next to the kerb even once during your visit...and I%26#39;d venture even highly probabe!
Florida is very cognisant of the number of visitors, so it should be very clearly marked -- no parking will be posted as such.
Otherwise, just avoid where the kerb is painted yellow --
