Anything else to do in Titusville?

Having just been to NASA in Houston, my daughter and I are not thrilled to be accompanying ';the boys'; again to do the space thing. Is there anywhere else we could go for the day while the boys go to NASA? Close to the Hampton Inn where we are staying? Thanks for any help!

The beach is all around you on the coast there where you could take long walks or bask in the sun if that%26#39;s your thing. If you want to do something other then visit the beach, strips mall and buffet restaurants you could always drive into Orlando for the day... it%26#39;s just about a little over an hour drive into Orlando. Or, you might want to drive North on A1A up the coast for about an hour and visit St. Augustine for the day - that can be fun. Do a Google search on St. Augustine to find out more.

Titusville is a small town so not much to do. I agree that there is a lot of beach . I would caution that Nasa/Houston compared to here is like a local fair vs Disneyworld. I would not get this close and miss it.

You are also only about an hour from Orlando. There is the Florida Mall and the Millineum Mall if you just want to go shopping. And lots of outlet malls there too. Downtown Disney too.

Or drive down to US1 or A1A to Cocoa Beach. Go to the beach for a few hours than go to Cocoa Village on the east side of the causeway on 520. Nice little shops and restaurants there. Not far from Titusville.
