With my dining plan with 1 child, can I pay out of pocket for her suppers and get myself an extra ';Adult'; meal? Or will it register that we have 1 childs supper left?

I%26#39;ve never used it, so I can%26#39;t answer with confidence, but I THINK that you pay for adult and child plans when you purchase them, so it would be hard to trick the system. I%26#39;m sure someone else can confirm/deny.

With the dining plan, you must buy the plan for everyone in your party under the rules of the MYW packages. So, you will be required to ';buy'; the dining plan for your child.

Now, as far as how the meals are deducted from the plan, I don%26#39;t think you can swap child%26#39;s meals for adult ones, even if you pay out of pocket for the childs. If you did, you wouldn%26#39;t get an extra adult meal, but instead have an extra child meal left over.

All the food courts at the resort hotels sell simple things like milk, cereal, small salads, etc. Also, there are several Hess convenience stores at various locations around the Disney property which sell these type food items too.

If these don%26#39;t work, I understand that down in LBV near Downtown Disney, there is a grocery store about 1/2 mile or so from DTD.

You used to be able to save up your childs meals credits but no more-the childs credits will be deducted. The Hess stations have okay prices,limited selection. If you don%26#39;t hvae a car,you can walk(or cab) about half a mile down Hotel Plaza Blvd from Downtown Disney to the Crossroads(it%26#39;s across SR 535) where there is a Goodings Supermarket-you%26#39;ll be able to get everything you need there-then cab it back to your resort.

Thanks Kat, we have the dining plan for everybody,I was hoping to maybe pay for the cheaper childs meal out of pocket and ';bank'; some dining meals for another day to use as adult but, I guess not.

disney changed this because that%26#39;s what everyone did!

It will still be way too much food-split the counter service meals. We have found three adults can eat one of them and be fine with a extra drink.

how old is the child cause under 2 is a different price but buffet is free

Under 3,kids can eat off your plate and they eat at a buffet for free.
