Need info as soon as about the Magic You Way base ticket

What I want is more info on the Magic You Way base ticket. We want to purchase 2 tickets with the hopper option and the water parks/more fun option as well. My question from what it looks like (to me anyway) can add the option of disney dining to this ticket or not?

No, the dining plan option is only available if you buy a Magic Your Way Resort package plan, where you stay at a Disney resort, purchase tickets, then purchase the dining plan with it.

You can only get the dining plan if you are staying at a Disney resort.

Thought so. This is the story so far. Booked a 16 night stay through Virigin in the Uk to stay at The Coronado Springs resort on the 2/04/07-18/04/07. Not bought any tickets yet. We then saw the disney dining plan. Virgin are saying they can%26#39;t book this for us. I%26#39;m now in the process of trying to contact Disney directly through the hotel to see if they can add this to our stay in April. I would gladly buy the theme park tickets as well through them to do this. Phoning Coronado tonight to see what they say.

The hotel nights, theme park tickets, and dining all have to be purchased together as a package. I don%26#39;t think they can add the tickets and dining to your Virgin vacation unless Virgin is an authorized travel agent for Disney packages.

Virgin class themselves as the number 1 tour operator from the Uk to Orlando. Definately authorised travel agent for disney packages. You can get any type of the tickets. Even the dining plan but they are saying for free inbtween certain dates and they don%26#39;t have the option to charge for the dining plan on a day to day basis. They said they use to, but not now. Someone said this may be because \virgin will not receive much profit in offering this. The way they work is you book your package and they send you your disney tickets in the post if you have ordered them and all your flight tickets, and a voucher for transfers and a voucher that you hand in to the hotel showing your booking. This will be the third time with Virgin now and they really are brilliant. Just strange they are now not offering the dining plan at a cost. They said that when I arrive to check in and I present the voucher that I will be able to add this to my resort stay. But, surely I should be able to give my booking reference before then to arrange this other the phone? I am phoning the coronado springs resort tonight to find out.

SUCCESS!!!! After countless phone calls and emails to Virgin, I finally got someone who got up off their bums and was able to contact Disney and amend the reservation to add the dining plan for 16 nights!!! God, I%26#39;ll of put on at least a stone after it. Oh well. I had to purchase the theme park tickets from Virgin as well but this was expected as Disney get you to buy everything as well. Dining plan costing 拢26 per day. Now I think Virgin are taking a bit more because isn%26#39;t it normally 拢21. Not bothered though, just very happy that they%26#39;ve sorted it out.
