Mobile phone service

Can anyone tell me how the service is for Sprint/NEXTEL in Kissimmee area? I%26#39;m actually staying in Clermont but could use some input on both areas.

It depends on where you are in Kissimmee. Kissimmee is a very large area and the service is good in most of it. Service in Clermont is also good, although it can be spotty traveling between Clermont and Orlando when you go through the hilly sections. Service up and down Hwy 27 is pretty good too. The only time you have trouble with cellular service here is if you go into some of the rural areas away from main roads. Our company uses Sprint/Nextel service and we don%26#39;t have trouble.

I actually live in Clermont and as the previous post stated....service with that company is spotty at best here. My husband and I actually switched to Cingular because the Nextel service here is so bad. It was not that way prior to the hurricanes a few years back but when we contacted Nextel about the poor service, we were told that the hurricanes knocked down one of the towers here and they had no plans to replace it.
