Advice for March 26th trip

I%26#39;m not sure if there is an answer to this question, but here it goes.

I would like to go to a beach in the last week of March with wife, 5 yr and 1 yr old. We usually do this each summer in Orange Beach, but due to work I may not be able to get away during June/July/Aug.

I would like a place that is on the Gulf side(shorter drive from MO), not packed with spring breakers, water warm enough to get in, and beach side condos or houses.

Any suggestions or just wishful thinking on my part?

Ever thought of looking at St. George Island? If your not a big party family, then St. George Island is your kinda place.

Very laid back and very family friendly.

Water may be a little cool in March, but that will probably be the case all up and down the panhandle. But there are options such as heated pools and hot tubs.
