Try treasure Island Florida, nice, not alot of condos, Mom and pop motels, and Hotels.

Naples-- it is part of the draw of people here is the ';old Town'; feel. There is a section on the northern part of Naples in which the condos are a bit higher but the city of Naples has a building high restriction. of 3 stories
Sanabel/Captiva is devoid of high rises

I own a place in Gulf county which not only has no high rises but there is not a whole lot there at all (no Walmart, go carts, putt-putt) and very few restarunts Cape San Blas , St Joe Beach and St George Island in Franklin co is just about as deserted all those are summer desinations.
Ever thought of looking at St. George Island?
