Chip and Dale?

Reading Kat-cubs-fan review of Liberty Tree Tavern, I was surprised to hear that Chip and Dale and Goofy and Minnie were the choice of characters. I have reservations at Garden Grill also and Chip and Dale are scheduled there as well. Are Chip and Dale in such high demand that they are all over the place like they are? Why not have the more popular characters considering the fact that his ';appearance'; would cost the same as ';someone elses%26#39;s'; for the most part.

I%26#39;m sorry but I%26#39;m a little annoyed with Chip and Dale.

Chip and Dale?

Chip and Dale are the real fun characters with real character! Of all we met during our visit Chip (or was it Dale?) were easily the most entertaining and fun. Their antics (real interactive fun!) with the diners outshone Mickey, etc. If I had to choose just two to meet again, without doubt it would be Chip n Dale! Give them a hug from me please!

Chip and Dale?

In fact, Chip %26amp; Dale were the two characters we saw the most on our recent trip, and not just at Liberty Tree.

I%26#39;ll bet we ran into them in at least four other places.

I agree with limericklady, chip and dale were such a hit with our family last year at the Cape May Cafe breakfast that we too have booked a meal with them this November at the Garden Grill at Epcot. Chip actually tried to take our then 6 year old daughter away with him. My daughter still talks about it to this day! Chip, Dale and Goofy all signed a balloon for my daughters 6th birthday and came over to ';sing'; happy birthday with the waitress and staff.

Chip %26amp; Dale are also at the Campfire Sing-Along at Fort Wilderness - of course, it makes a certain amout of sense that there would be chipmonks in the woods. We thought they were great.

I understand that but why can%26#39;t that very active ';person'; underneath be in a more popular costume. Regardless of what costume the person is in, you were amused by his ';personality'; that he showed not the fact that it was Chip (or Dale). If that cast member acts the same way but as Mickey or Goofy - it is much more effective.

Economically, it may be more cost effective to be in a more generic costume than some of the others and logistically, the personailty shown may fit Chip more so than Minnie but would it not have been better if Mickey played those games with your children?

PS: On my last trip I was able to tell them apart by the teeth but I forget what the determining factor was.

Chip has a black nose and Dale has a red one.

Judging by the many sightings of said cute rodents, does this mean there are more than one of them?

I think we should be told!

My daughter aged about 8 at the time and I, followed one of the main characters (some sort of Duck) into a small compound where they changed personnel and drank some liquids in. She wanted an autograph or two. We were quickly shown the door but not before the cast member had taken the top part of the costume off and shouted out that it was %26#39;just too ******* hot out there !!!%26#39;

I was not shocked since I have been known to use industrial language and my daughter said %26#39;yes it must get very hot in the costume%26#39;. I expected her to be mortified that the character was anything other than %26#39;real%26#39; and secondly she might just have noticed such terrible language.

Chip and Dale are also at Chef Mickey%26#39;s-those chipmunks sure do get around.

and their are in toon town for pictures. they were there the 3 times we went down for photos.we just looked at the signs above the ques. oh no chip and dale again, we%26#39;ll skip that one. they dont half get around dont they

I would say the reason Chip and Dale are about so much is that Disney has lots of Chip and Dale costumes.
