Going to Orlando next month and was wondering if anyone knew how long a Magic Kingdom pass is good for. The last time we were there it was 1992 and I still have time left on a 4 day pass. Someone once told me they were good for life.
Magic Kingdom Passes
I believe it is with a pass of that vintage that was before Disney decided that they could make more money by charging extra for that facility.
Magic Kingdom Passes
The old tickets did not have expirations. They have just started that within the last few years. They now expire 14 days after first use unless you purchase the no expiration add-on.
Here%26#39;s an article that might help you:

Is your pass from 1992 the kind that has a ';magnetic strip'; on the back for sliding through and reading electronically?
If not, you%26#39;ll probably have to do an ';exchange'; of your pass for a new one. The article posted above on allears is a good one for determining if your old pass can still be used or not.
I wasn%26#39;t attending Disney regularly back in 1992, so I don%26#39;t kwow what kind of tickets they were using back then.
1996 was the year they introduced the magnetic strip tickets.
Chances are then that 1992 tickets will have to be ';exchanged'; for new ones. Hopefully, they will give you an ';even swap'; and won%26#39;t just credit you with a $ value and you have to pay a difference in price.
I went on the allears website. It was very helpful and indeed my ticket is still good. Thanks for the info.
Are you guys saying that if you had a ticket in 1992 that it is still good. Any kind of ticket? We went years ago although I doubt if I still have the ticket.
