2-week vacation with kids 3 and 6 years old

Can anyone recommend a cool place to be other than at a Disneyworld resort in Orlando. We are planning a trip april 2008 with our two kids age 6 and 3. We are planning to stay one week at a Disneyworld resort, but don%26#39;t know where we can stay the last week (which city and hotel). Help please.

If you are devoting one week to the kids in Orlando, and need one week for the family as a whole in a more laid back place, maybe consider driving from Orlando to St. George Island in the Panhandle of FL.

If your not a big party family, then St. George Island is your kinda place. Alot of nature stuff to do %26amp; see.

St. George Island, FL is located near Apalachicola, it%26#39;s a great laid back family destination.

Check out Treasure Island Florida, gulf coast of florida, about 2 hours from disney.

The web site Pageterrace.com, will show you a real nice, resonably

priced family oriented motel on the beach, there is also a kiddie

park about half way down the beach walk.

Page Terrace has a real nice pool, and lots of people with children stay there. You right across the street from stores, resturants, beach trolly runs up and down Gulf. Blvd.

I would highly recommend this area, I have been going there for years, you will love it!
