Emergency Plan. Where do we meet if we loose each other?

Hi

My family, my husband, 2 daughters and I are going to DisneyWorld in Nov. Does anyone have any good advice on where to meet incase we loose each other. It happens all the time to us. My husband and 1 daughter will walk one way and my other daughter and I all of a sudden can%26#39;t find them. Then they say ';Your the one who took off'; ha, so I don%26#39;t want to waste any of our time looking for one another. I am considering walkie talkies but still do you have any good plans on where to meet incase you loose eachother. I used to have a plan with my friends where we would always meet at the last place we saw eachother but I don%26#39;t know if thats so good for kids. Should we start out everyday with a new plan?

we tell the children if they get seperated or lost to go into the nearest shop the shop will then get onto security then when you see the nearest security guard have them radio hq and find out which shop the child is at and go and collect, all children are safe etc we have never had to do this but always stress to the children how important it is,

if you and your huby have gone seperate ways with a child each then i would carry on with your plans but always arrange to meet at the exit of the park at a arranged timebefore you step into the park, this way both you and the children see the park no ones spending the day looking for each other and wasting a whole day at the parks, also this gives you the pleasure to tell each other what you have seen thats different to one another at dinner time lol lol

Go to Wal-Mart and invest in some inexpensive walkie talkies. They work quite well in parks. We have even used them when we have travelled in seperate vehicles on the road.

How old are your daughters? If they are very young, they should go to the nearest cast member, who will get the word out to find you and keep them safe.

If they are older, and can be on their own, pick a central location in each park. For example, at the Magic Kingdom, right in front of Cinderella Castle, is a statue of Walt and Mickey. That would be a good meeting point, because it%26#39;s central and it%26#39;s small, so you wouldn%26#39;t be wandering around in your meeting place missing each other. If you just say ';meet in front of the castle'; that covers a lot of area, and you may not find each other.

My daughters are 9 and 12. Although they are not small children I still would want them to have a plan. Thanks for the advice. I will use it. A friend who is over at our house right now just offered to lend us his walkie talkies, and I think I will tell my kids to go to the nearest shop if they get separated. Thanks
