Marathon key

Has anyone stayed at the Flamingo Inn? Is it clean? Oour family is looking for an inexpensive place to stay in marathon key for 1 night. We also plan on visiting Bahia Honda park and the Dolphin research center,any other suggestions? Thanks

Depending upon the ages of the kids you could try the turtle hospital in Marathon. The lovely Buffettgal and Buffettneice went and it was enjoyed by all. Shes 8 y/o.

Crane Point is also a nice adventure.

If you%26#39;ll only be there 1-2 days, this is plenty to do.

Pigeon Key is an interesting and historical tour with a train ride across part of the old 7 Mile bridge. Just south of Bahia Honda is Deer Key, drive slowly thru the area and take the side street at the traffic light. You will see small deer all over the place. Sombrero beach has a playground if you have little ones.

Did you check out Sombrero Reef Inn in Marathon? We stayed there recently and enjoyed it. Also go by Sombrero Beach. It%26#39;s free too. Our favorite cheap place to stop is Robbie%26#39;s in Islamorada, feed the Tarpon for $2. It%26#39;s a sight!
