Casa Marina hotel on Atlantic Beach

Casa Marina is right on the ocean just a couple blocks from the busiest part of Jacksonville‘s beaches where mobs of kids and young folks hang out, especially at night on weekends.)
The hotel has a popular open air bar facing the ocean on the top floor.
I looked at a couple rooms a few years ago after the hotel reopened after being closed for many years. Furniture in the guest rooms looked like it was from Goodwill! (Hope it has been changed.) Prices for the rooms seemed very high considering the lack of ambience.
The restaurant used to be very, very good, but I haven’t been there for a while and I know the restaurant has undergone some changes.
