Crowds on Superbowl Sunday

Any chance attendence will be down on Superbowl Sunday?

Crowds on Superbowl Sunday

The ';best days'; site has that day listed as a level ';4'; attendance, so crowds should be manageable that day.

However, I%26#39;d steer clear of the sports venues like ESPN Club and many of the local pubs/bars.

Actually there%26#39;s talk that attendance might be up that weekend. Some have speculated that that whole weekend might be significantly busier, as some people may choose to stay in Orlando and kill two birds with one stone, with family going to Disney and men driving to Miami on Super Sunday, or something like that. I don%26#39;t see it being a big deal, but Lulutoo, LE for the Ft. Lauderdale forum, has heard talk of people doing this.

Normally, that weekend is a pretty slow weekend. I would think you%26#39;ll have a lot of people exiting the park earlier that day so they can watch the game. But does anyone know if the theme parks themselves have special TV%26#39;s set up with the game on to accomodate park guests?

Eddie,

I%26#39;m just not sure about Sunday specifically. I can imagine there will be extra folks ';around town'; that weekend and the days preceeding, but I was kinda figuring that Sunday itself may be light at the parks.

Anyway, I agree that many will exit the parks early that Sunday to go watch the game somewhere, so afternoon/evening may be a good time to be there that day.

I%26#39;m with you on the issue pretty much, Kat. And thinking about it, unless things really turned out differently, that Saturday would be the biggest day. Certainly, locals would not turn out for the parks as much as normal.

Thanks for the info. Now, if the weather will just hold.
